UNIPORT Postpones UTME screening exercise

I saw this on the Guardian today:

This is to inform all intending candidates for the 2010/2011 admission exercise into the University of Port Harcourt that the Post UTME screening exercises scheduled for 4th to 6th August, 2010 has been postponed until further notice

The postponement is to enable the institution accommodate candidates who chose the university of Port-Harcourt as their second choice University, whose details have not been forwarded to the institution by the Joint Admissions and Matriculations Board(JAMB)

A new date will be announced as soon as the UTME details of the second choice candidates are received from JAMB. The on-going registration exercise by the first choice candidates continues until further notice. First choice candidates who have completed the registration process should visit the University's website at www.uniport.edu.ng for further instructions.
