Some people may be already rejoicing about their utme results be cause they had high scores although it doesn't end there. There are also others who may not be in high spirits because they scored low or below 200. These things shouldn't really bother you if you are desperate in getting admitted as quick as you can in a Nigerian University.
How do you get admission into a University in Nigeria?
Well the first way is by:
UTME
What about outside UTME? Can one get admitted without doing the exams?
The answer is yes!
You can also get admission by means of:
Direct entry.

How do you get admission into a University with Direct entry? Well you will need to at least have an academic qualification much higher than your SSCE. Something like the following will do for most universities:
- OND
- HND
- 1st Degree
- A level
- IJMB
- Diploma
- ICAN
- NCE

So if you have any of hte above qualifications already, you can still gain admission into a Nigerian university by means of direct entry without doing any exam.

The UTME results are out. If you are not satisfied with that and still want to get admitted as an advanced student, you can try applying for DE by:

- Going to www.jamb.org.ng
- Click on the DE link
- Download the registration template and prefill it
- Get your scratch card and complete the online registration

For those of you who don't already have any advanced academic qualification, there are still a couple of Nigerian universities (Mostly new or private) which will offer you an admission into a pre-undergraduate programme which will then make you qualified to be admitted after about 1 year. Some Federal universities like Unilag, Uniben offer advanced diploma programmes that will qualify you for year 2 if you passed. There are others who still offer pre-degree programmes. So you can just try by first visiting and inquiring about your school

Gaining admission into nigeria university now has become er hot-cake, he doesnt really go as evryone thinks. Its jux God's grace to geh admitted wiv ur brain, imagin me a candidate of IJMB wiv 12p of score since 2009 couldn't even geh admitted into UNIBUJA, wah shld we call dah, dull brain or wah? nigeria education has been hell, ever since the being of new millennium naija educational system had been worst, early nineties student do not struggle for purchase forms before making there result, bt nowadays we ve so many forms out der such as {WAEC,GCE,NECO,NECO GCE} than after struggle to mak any of dis pepper struggle continue for {jamb & post utme}.i struggle for gud six years before i could ve one sitting in my SSCE result.
