A lot of universities in Nigeria conduct examinations even after the Jamb exams. They call it post utme exams and this is another hurdle a prospective undegraduate has to fce just to get admission into a Nigerian university. A lot of people are not happy about this except maybe te universities concerned who make millions of naira yearly just from conducting it. Students are worried and so are parents. The National houses of assembly are also not really in support of it but have not in any way made a law forbidding it. What do you think? Should it be banned or allowed to continue?

Post UTME should be banned because it has prevented a lot of talented and serious young student from gaining an admission into school early. Some of them could pass the exam but asked to paid a sum amount of money they or their parent can‘t afford.

I think the govt.should look into the areas of state institutiöns,they are the money making institutions.How can somebody buy the pume form more than the agreed one thousand naira by the govt;still when the result comes out you buy another scratch card for result checking.It is unfair.I think d state institutions are the bone of the contention to this issue of möney making. It should not be banned but state institutions should be monitored.

In my own point of view i think it should not be stop,what should be done is the real monitoring of the post ume because in this aspect alot of student has been cheated.After scoring good marks in jamb and post ume yet no admissiom.we are surffering,we need help!

Yes! It shld be banned. I think it's jst anoda means of making money @ d expense of students and parents struggling 2 make ends meet. Paying 4 waec & jamb,going 2 make clearance & pay tuition fee is enough 4 students. Those who train themselves & parents who struggle nd suffer 2 train dere children find it very hard 2 cope wit all these exam fees. Jamb is d admission exam in2 d uni,i don't c any reason 4 or d importance of p-utme. It's jst making d uni hard 4 a poor man's child 2 enter.

Yes it should be banned, because universities used this to frustrate those that seek for admission. That is indirect way used by university lecturers to disqualifying JAMB, forgotten that they passed through JAMB.

It should not b banned bcos it is an avenue for further scrutiny especially for those who use influence,examination malpractice and favouritism to pass jamb. The only problem of post ume exams and admission status is indigenization and tribalism some universities use

yes it should be banned. What is d use since there is a body call jamb. How can somone struggle to sit for utme later he/she will struggle for putme just to enter uni.dat is rubbish. Go to advance countries there is nothing like dat.someone wil score high mark in utme n putme but dia wil b no admission for him/her.Hear my story,last year i scored 275 in utme n 87/100 in putme but no admission for me.my brothers n sisters is it gud.pls govt shud look into dis post rubbish n do someting to avoid d ruin of some talents.

Exams! i can confidently say its not the true test of knowledge, I ve sat for JAMB exam several times, with good scores for both the jamb and UTME Exams. so am still at home what can i say. When it so happen that must of the people that re in the institutions can't read or write. My opinion is, it should not be "BANNED" but propally check and money should not be collected since we have no assurance of addmission after the exams.
